The sculptures by Novello Finotti are a real temptation. We are tempted by their details. The details might be fragment, though always human, such as legs, arms or fingers which, though remaining immobile as is the case with other sculptures, seem to talk to us. They incite us to begin a monologue or a dialogue or a conversation. His sculptures have bodies that are intimately sweet, and in fact sweetness and wonder lie at the heart of Finotti's creativity.
