Solo exhibition

Starting Sunday, February 7, 2027, Gerard Engels will be exhibiting at Villa Hinkeloord.

Gerard Engels’s bronze sculptures—primarily horses and torsos—reveal a construction made of strips, a technique through which he has developed a unique, distinctive style. His background in industrial design explains his interest in technology. Gerard Engels is a self-taught visual artist. He initially worked with wood, creating abstract objects inspired by vertebrae and fruit, but gradually shifted towards increasingly figurative work. 

The exhibition opens on Sunday, February 7, 2027, at 3:30 PM and runs until June 6, 2027.
