GIPS
Theme exhibition
In the GIPS exhibition we show the versatility of plaster. A series of classics from antiquity is supplemented by a number of plaster works made by sculptors represented in the collection of Het Depot.
The classical sculptures in the exhibition come from the casting workshop of the Royal Museum of Art and History in Brussels. Of the other plaster statues, there are unique pieces or casts made from a mold for a bronze statue. Eppe de Haan, Eveline van Duyl, Louis Niënhuis, Jan Pater, Lia van Vught, teja van hoften, Andreas Hetfeld, André Vranken, Marti de Greef and Kim Kroes, among others, are participating in this summer's exhibition. These are familiar names for regular visitors to Het Depot.
